Sometimes we want something other than water to drink on a hot day, but we don’t want the calories in juices and other flavored drinks, and we don’t really want that diet soda–what can we drink that will hit the spot?
Discover unflavored carbonated water–on ice it is refreshing all by itself.
Try adding some lemon or lime slices, or just lemon or lime juice–definitely a thirst quencher.
How about this (I did not believe I’d like it until I tried it):
Tall glass carbonated water on ice + 1 tbsp lemon or lime juice + 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar.
My son told me about this and I thought he was nuts until I tried it myself; I’ve been sipping these every afternoon this week—credit for this goes to Michael Brydges
